Grain separator ISM-40 CSC

The ISM-40-CSC grain separator is designed for use in grain cleaning complexes or other similar grain cleaning systems and elevators. It can also be integrated into a fully automated grain cleaning line, making it a versatile solution for farms and processing plants.
The ISM-40 CSC is a reliable solution for companies that require powerful equipment for integration into modern grain cleaning systems, ensuring accurate and efficient operation.
The ISM-40-CSC grain separator is designed for large-scale grain operations in agricultural enterprises. The main difference from other machines of this type is the use of a power unit based on an impeller.

The use of an impeller on machines of this type offers a number of advantages, such as:
  • Minimizing airflow power loss.
  • Reducing electricity consumption by three to four times.
  • Expanding the functionality of the separator.
  • Using a frequency converter, which in turn simplifies adjustment.
  • Increasing the durability of the electric motor.
Cyclone sedimentation chamber – allows the air circulating in the separator to be cleaned of dust and light impurities. The uniqueness of this design lies in the fact that it does not consume additional electricity and works with the separator as a single mechanism.

Advantages of the cyclone sedimentation chamber:
  • The machine can be installed in enclosed spaces without additional air purification systems.
  • Energy savings of up to 30% compared to a machine without a CSC.
  • Combining two units in one machine (separator + cyclone) minimizes energy consumption.
  • The grain is dried by the warmer air circulating inside the machine.
  • Dust and debris fall into a special tray.
  • Improved noise insulation (noise level reduced from 87 dB to 57 dB).
  • Simple design and operation.

Principle of operation:

The principle of operation of the ISM-40 CSC aerodynamic grain separator is based on the separation of the material being separated in an air stream. Primary cleaning and preparation of the seed material is carried out based on the mass and buoyancy of the crop, which makes it possible to separate grain with high sowing qualities. The initial material (grain) is fed into the receiving bin, where it is distributed over its entire width under its own weight and enters the separation chamber in a uniform flow. Thanks to the powerful laminar air flow, heavy impurities and stones are first sifted out and fall into the first fraction. The seed grain falls into the second and third trays. The fourth and fifth trays are used for commercial grain. Non-grain impurities, all damaged and split grains are carried away by the air flow into the sixth and seventh trays. The air circulating in the separator is cleaned, and dust and light impurities exit through a special tray.
